We are a dynamic IT consultancy located just outside Monmouth, and in the wake of the pandemic, our workforce has transitioned to remote work. As we continue to expand, our administrative needs have grown, and we’re on the lookout for an exceptional individual to join our virtual admin and finance department. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Dealing with requests via our ticketing system
  • Updating client IT support schedules
  • Managing document signings via our e-signature service
  • Dealing with purchase orders and client invoicing
  • Coordinating hotel bookings, catering, and meetings through occasional phone calls
  • Proactively reaching out to clients when emails remain unanswered
  • Following up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
  • Conducting comprehensive research to make informed decisions, prioritising quality over cost
  • Managing intricate travel and accommodation arrangements, often involving multiple parties
  • Placing orders and organising seamless deliveries
  • Tackling unforeseen office-related challenges that require quick thinking and adaptability

This opportunity is tailor-made for someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic about dedicating 2 hours per day to remote work
  • Can execute tasks within agreed-upon timelines
  • Is keen to learn to use new IT systems
  • Possesses exceptional organisational skills
  • Is proactive in negotiating with suppliers and finding the best deal
  • Demonstrates strong written and spoken English proficiency
  • Understands the significance of creating a positive impression, both in written communication and over the phone
  • Delights in taking ownership and initiative, and delivering fully-formed solutions to clients and colleagues
  • Resides within a one-hour drive of Monmouth
  • Is happy to have occasional in-person meetings as required, and attend 3-4 annual company meetings.
  • Is committed to delivering nothing less than excellence

Hourly Rate?

Starting at £15 per hour, though we’re open to discussions if you can convince us that your skills merit more.
