This is the age of Open Source software, and we love it. The notion of freely available, high quality, robust software is exciting to us, and we help businesses use it to thrive.
When our technical staff aren’t working on our clients’ systems (or our own: our business is built on Linux), they’re often found working on their own systems. For them, working with Linux isn’t a job: it’s a passion, a way of life.
We also want to leave our mark on the world, and we’re doing that in two ways:
- We support various Open Source projects. Some of our staff are Debian Developers, and are actively supporting various software packages and developing the next version of Debian. Our staff have contributed to a range of other projects, including mail clients, development tools, management tools, networking packages, the Linux kernel and more.
- In the wider world, we’re supporting the Global Goals initiative, specifically Goal #3, Good Health and Well Being. Tiger Computing donates 1% of its profits to Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.
